Oil & Bagels

How many GPB (Gallons Per Bagel)?

Our teachers and students are making great films in the classroom and Public Service Announcements (PSA's) are some of our favorites. This short and potent genre not only allows teachers to integrate PSA production with what they are teaching, but students can eat it up and spit it out: making the content they are learning their own, while raising awareness and persuading the audience to take action about something important to them.

Hand drawn by Mike Heaton of Lakeridge Junior High, the above video, Oil and Bagels both teaches and entertains and serves as a call to action to stop our dependency on oil.
