UA&M Details GOS Grant Timeline

Yesterday, we received correspondence from our wonderful colleagues at the Utah Divisions of Arts & Museums (UA&M) about the timeline for General Operating Support (GOS) grant applications. In short, applications and guidelines should be available online by Friday, June 11 with applications being due by Friday, August 6 at 5 p.m. To read the full details, you can read the message from UA&M's Grants Department here:

Greetings from the grants office. I am writing with an update about Utah Arts & Museums General Operating Support Grants for FY22. I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the application guidelines, and I appreciate your patience. I also know how hard you are all working, not only to apply to all of the funding opportunities that are available this spring, but also to reopen your businesses. We have heard from many people, and we are adapting our plans in response to what we have heard.

Our goal is to have the application and guidelines available online by next Friday, June 11, but the grants will not be due until Friday, August 6th at 5:00 p.m. Grant awards will not occur until late in the fall (October/November). If you received funding in FY21, your final report will be included in the new application. Organizations that do not apply for General Operating Support funds will have the opportunity to ask for project support, and we will post more information about that soon on our website.
We are honored to work with Utah State Legislators, Governor Cox and the National Endowment for the Arts to support the valuable work that you do.
