Answer: I would not be who I am today without them. I own and operate a 501c3 company in cedar city that specializes in bringing world class improv classes and performances to Cedar City. I utilize my theatrical training everyday in class while I'm teaching Social Studies and Drama to my students.

Utah's humanities and arts employ 112,000 Utahns, provide $4 billion in earnings, and $16 billion in sales. This is a larger economic impact than agriculture, mining, and real estate. Do you consider the arts and cultural sector an economic driver in Utah?

Answer: I support a thriving art and humanitarian culture. In Cedar City we would be foolish not to invest in the arts and humanities. We have so much business for our community that comes from the arts. Finding a way to encourage arts and humanities funding while balancing the herds and wants if my community are very important to me.

Answer: I have been a very active participant in my local arts and humanities community. I have tried to provide opportunities to my community through events, live performances, volunteering for projects, teaching classes and workshops and helping create a community of improv artists and actors in Cedar City. I've worked for both the Neil Simon Festival and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. I have volunteered my time to help the Cedar City Children's Music Theater. I will continue to push for opportunities to better the arts and humanities when I can.
