Despite being confined at home by the doctor, she remains hopeful, winning over strangers with her positive attitude and ability to imagine a better life for herself. We are engaging a community of students and professionals to create a piece of theatre as a companion to the United Nations Civil Society Conference. Performed by high school students from Cottonwood, Granger, Kearns, Olympus and Taylorsville High Schools in Granite School District. Directed by Adam Wilkins from Cottonwood. Designed by Maddy Ashton (set), Cheryl Cluff (sound), Pilar Davis (lighting) Maddiey Howell-Watkins (costumes). Part of Plan-B’s In the Classroom education program. 100% of proceeds benefit Adopt-A-Future, a program of the United Nations Association, providing direct support for refugee education at the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya.
