The City of Taylorsville is starting a series of events at the new Centennial Plaza in front of City Hall. These evenings, called Starry Nights @the Plaza, may feature concerts or performances, movie nights and games, or an evening when you can grab a yummy bite at the food trucks. The first such event on Saturday, May 14, will celebrate the official opening of the stage at Centennial Plaza, 2600 W. Taylorsville Blvd. The food trucks arrive at 5 p.m.; a short ceremony will start at 7 p.m., and local rock band De Novo is headlining 'til 9:30. The event is free so bring your friends or family for an evening out together on the plaza.
