ROUGHSIDE OF THE LENS FILM PREMIERE
PRESENTED BY MONSTER ENERGY, HALF AND HALF SKATE SHOP AND ROUGHNECK HARDWARE

Salt Lake City, Utah – SLUG Magazine is thrilled to present the Roughside of the Lens Film Premiere on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Post Theater. Admission to the screening will be $5.

This year on Sept. 10SLUG Magazine held the first-ever Roughside of the Lens skate filming competition in Salt Lake City. The first competition of its kind in Utah, skaters of all ages banded together in 15 teams of two to five skaters and videographers to try and obtain the best raw footage on the streets of the Salt Lake Valley. There was only one catch: an eight-hour time limit. Film was submitted by each team by 7 p.m. the day of the contest.

Using the submitted footage, Eric “Fergie” Ferguson, a local videographer and film editor, has compiled the best footage into a full-length film of the contest to be sent to industry professionals for judging.

Teams will be awarded First Place, Second Place, Third Place, Best Trick and more.
