MAKE SOME MUSIC THIS SUMMER WITH HARMONY HUB
We are excited to announce a couple new musical opportunities taking place with the Harmony Hub program this summer! In collaboration with Sorenson Unity Center, Youth City will be offering group piano classes as part of their 10 week summer program. Open to 3-8th graders, the camp runs from June-August. Learn more about the program on the registration form:
Through a new partnership with Utah Classical Guitar, both youth and adults can also participate in free classical guitar classes at the Sorenson Unity Center. Classes include Youth Guitar Orchestra (ages 6-18), Adult Classical Guitar Classes for beginners, and Utah Classical Guitar Orchestra for adults looking to perform in an ensemble. Harmony Hub @ Glendale Library continues! Drop-in piano lessons continue through May 20 and start up again for the summer on June 10. This will also be a destination on the new Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks Kids Summer Passport! Get your passport stamped and have some fun with piano instructor, Jenny Floor and Mundi Ambassadors
ARTISTS TAKE THE STAGE AT GALLIVAN, MAY 27

The IMPULSE Festival is almost here! Youth performance groups and visual artists will be taking the stage at the Gallivan Center amphitheatre for an afternoon of spontaneous painting to music. If you are staying in town this Memorial Day Weekend, join us and create your own masterpiece along to the performances! A piano will also be painted onsite by a professional artist to kick off a series of street piano projects this summer.
Get involved! We are looking for a few good volunteers available to assist for 2-3 hours at this event. If you are interested in participating, contact Michelle Ludema at [email protected].
