In drawing, fewer things are more important than capturing the gesture or movement of a subject.
In this beginner's class students will learn to create dynamic drawings of the human figure through the use of gesture line. Students will work from a live model for a series of quick, timed sketches (30 seconds-3 minutes) that focus on simplifying the human form by capturing the expressive movement of the figure. Students will work in a variety of media including pencil, charcoal and ink.
