Explore his process, view his handiwork, and even take a peek at collectible decoys that have influenced his craft. ARTIST BIO: Chris R. Simonsen was born and raised in Brigham City, Utah. He learned to love the outdoors from watching birds in the fields & marshes West of Brigham City. He’s been married to his wife Karen for 53 years. They have 6 children and 12 grandchildren. He is a Pediatric Dentist and the Deseret News has referred to him as the “Mr. Rogers of Dentistry”. He enjoys raising chickens, working in their vegetable garden, and creating things out of wood.
