How have the arts, culture, and/or humanities impacted your life?
Answer: The arts are a MAJOR part of my life. Music in particular is a passion of mine (more an appreciator than a contributor). My 'LIFE" outside work (and often during in the case of music) is often filled with; listening to music, watching; Film, movies and well done TV/streaming content. I have a disabled son (sight and mobility impaired) who is VERY artistic and has gotten me re-interested in many arts and culture thatI enjoyed in my youth. He is now 26. We often go to the movies or view content together and are both VERY picky about what we spend our precious time together viewing.

Fiscally responsible government investment in the arts and humanities means to me (could be the right $ amount for the local arts council and/or its grants, etc.).
Answer: I'm not sure I understand this question. Fiscally responsible to me would mean that arts activities at least cover their costs that they impose to the city just like ANY other event or activity. I.E. I don't really endorse tax increases just so we can have culture. I think that the culture needs to pay it's way. However I am open to ideas that can be fostered by the city that are low to no cost to attract revenue attracting activities to the city. NSL is a bit odd since we don't have much culture and could actually use some more. One of my campaign points is to create a vibrant downtown which has never existed here. One of those elements would be culture; live music, shows and plays, movies etc.
