Evie Atkin Harold Tanner

Arrowhead Gallery ETC’s current featured artists are Evie Atkin and Harold Tanner. Please join them for a featured artist reception Friday, December 16, from 6-8pm, 68 E. Tabernacle in St. George.

Evalyne Thompson Atkin was born and raised in colorful southern Utah. Southern Utah has influenced and inspired much of her work. She is owner and operator of Atkin Draperies where she designs draperies with several well-known designers. As a child her drawings and sculpting adorned the family home. Her self-taught artistic pursuits have evolved into gourd fine art which can be viewed at the Arrowhead Gallery and the gallery’s website.

Harold’s artistic talents took him into window display. He has won five Gold Medals from Display World Magazine and a 1st place award in the National Westinghouse window contest. He became a professional ISID Interior designer by attending BYU, the University of Utah, and the New York School of Interior Design. He was the design chair for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Designer Homes for 8 years. He shows in galleries in Colorado, Arizona, and Utah with his studio in the Arrowhead Gallery.
