Dear Valued Members & Supporters,
The 48th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival was a success! Thank you to everyone who made it possible, including the Kimball staff, Park City Municipal, the 355 volunteers who donated over 2,100 hours, the Festival sponsors and, of course, all the artists who participated. We had an increase in attendance over last year and an overwhelmingly positive response from artists and attendees. As it was my first Festival, I was amazed and inspired by the enormity of the event and how everyone came together to make it happen. I’m looking forward to next year’s Festival taking place August 3-5, 2018
September brings us Celebration of the Arts, a two-day event held at the stunning Red Cliff Ranch in Heber. Join us on Saturday, September 16th and Sunday, September 17th to shop for art by local artists, enjoy live music and fun for the whole family, including kids’ art activities, lasso lessons and pony rides on Saturday. Don’t miss this fun community event and fundraiser for the Kimball.
Happy Creating,
Lindsie Smith

This is programmed for ages 3 - 5, but kids of all ages are welcome to participate. Parents stick around and join in on the fun! All tots need adult supervision during the reading and art project.

EXHIBITIONS
Jimmi Toro: Kindle A Light
Main Gallery: September 1 - November 26
Jimmi Toro’s new multi-media exhibition is inspired by Carl Jung’s observation that, “As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.” Toro is a Salt Lake City-based painter, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. In Kindle a Light, he brings together all of these creative pursuits to present an immersive experience for the viewer.
