The Urban Arts Gallery presents the 7th Annual Skate Deck Challenge, a diverse collection of works from local artists.

Salt Lake City – Friday, September 22: Once again, September at Urban Arts Gallery will offer local artists the chance to create their own skate deck art and compete for first place. There are no rules for the art other than it be created on or with a skate deck. The public will vote on their favorite decks during our gallery stroll reception on September 22nd, and the winning pieces will receive prizes and bragging rights. The exhibit is sure to be a vibrant and unique expression of Salt Lake creativity.
This show will hang September 5th through October 1st, with a gallery stroll reception on September 22nd.

The Urban Arts Gallery is located at the south end of Gateway Mall at 137 S. Rio Grande. The gallery showcases contemporary artwork from emerging and established Utah artists under the spectrum of street art to modern fine art. The Urban Arts Gallery is a non-profit art venue of the Utah Arts Alliance, which seeks to foster the arts in all forms in order to create an aware, empowered, and connected community.
