A Message From IKEA
IKEA Draper is so excited to sponsor the first ever Parenting Lounge at the Craft Lake City DIY Festival. At IKEA we believe time with family is very important whether you’re shopping or working at our store or out enjoying everyday life. That’s why we are excited to provide a place to make life easier for moms, dads and babies. Whether you're feeding, changing diapers or just taking a quick time out with baby we’ve got you covered with changing stations, chairs and a little peace and quiet.

Family is so important to IKEA, so as of January 1, 2017, IKEA offers a parental leave policy for co-workers who are expanding their families, providing up to four months of paid parental leave. This includes salaried and hourly workers, both mothers and fathers, and adoptive and foster parents. This expanded policy was introduced to ensure co-workers have the opportunity to bond with their children and connect as a new family.
