Craft Lake City Announces Kid Row Vendor Opportunity

 
April 18, 2017–Craft Lake City announces its new 2017 DIY Festival exhibition space for creators ages 14 & under.
 
The 9th Annual 2017 DIY Festival, which features over 250 local artisans, musicians, DIY engineers, craft foodies and more proudly extends an invitation to youth creators for this year’s festival. On Saturday, Aug. 12, from 12–4p.m., creators aged 14 & under will have to opportunity to sell their work and interact with festival patrons in the Kid Row section of the festival.

“We are so excited to include youth artisans in our kids' area at this year's festival,” says Rachel Hayes, Craft Lake City Kids Area Manager. “I am looking forward to seeing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that abounds in even the youngest crafters in our community!”
 
To participate in Kid Row, participants need to apply through the Kid Row online application. Each application requires five images and the payment of a $10 application fee via PayPal. Applications will be reviewed by a blind jury, and accepted youth artisans will pay a tabling fee of $25 and be given a 3’ x 3’ table vending space. In-house staff will not disclose any personal information of participating youth to external parties, including jury members.

The 2017 DIY Festival will be held at the Gallivan Center, 239 S. Main Street, on Friday, Aug. 1 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.Saturday, Aug. 12 from noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 13 from noon to 7 p.m.
