The Annual Kimball Art Center Gala, an outdoor, tented event taking place at our new location, precedes and honors the 47th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival (August 12 - 14). The evening will include The Way of the Rain, a live multidisciplinary art performance that invites the audience to remember their physical and spiritual connection to our planet's beauty and plight through paintings, music, dance, film, light and spoken word. The performance will feature world-renowned musicians Will Calhoun, Dave Eggar and Chuck Palmer, as well as tap dancer Andrew Nemr, and guest artist Robert Redford.
The evening will also include a cocktail reception, live auction and seated dinner to launch Sibylle Szaggars Redford's new exhibit, Summer Rainfall, running in the Kimball's Main Gallery from August 4 - September 25.
Fashion Alert! With the Gala taking place outside under an elegant tent, we recommend cocktail attire and sensible footwear as well as a light jacket. Summer evenings in Park City can vary in temperature and we want our guests to be comfortable.
