January 14 – March 7, 2020 Nancy Steele-Makasci’s exhibition Zeitgeist confronts contemporary social issues concerning gender inequality, economic and justice disparity, agricultural monopolization, environmental exploitation and silence. Cultural beliefs and established power structures that hurt, defeat and destroy innocent lives are creatively exposed and challenged through a series of powerful images rebelliously defying inequalities with unpredictable figures, words and symbology.
