The Classical Greek Theatre Fesival's production of Euripides' Herakles is a captivating portrayal of the effects of war upon the psyche of a soldier returning from the battlefield struggling to reintegrate with society. Originally set in Ancient Greece, director Hugh Hanson translates this production in a modern post-Vietnam America with soldiers returning home from war only to struggle with the depths of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Translation by Anne Carson.
