On Repeat, an evening of dance produced by Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company, will be presented November 11 and 12 at the Orem Library Hall. From football to family and everything in between, On Repeat explores the traditions, habits & patterns.

Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company is Utah County's premier professional contemporary dance company under the direction of Jessica Heaton. Hailed by loveDANCEmore as "superbly articulate and joyfully evocative," WCDC invigorates audiences with innovative and meaningful performances. Come celebrate the athleticism and fluidity of contemporary movement. Tickets to On Repeat are on sale now at wasatchcontemporary.com. This performance is appropriate for a family audience and a minimum age of 8 is suggested. The show will run approximately 90 minutes and will take place at the Orem Library Hall, the new theater built onto the public library. On Repeat features work from 7 different local and guest choreographers. Some unique spotlights include a dance film by Jessica Heaton and Aleisha Paspuel exploring what would happen if dancers played football, and winning works from WCDC's summer choreography intensive. In Heather Norton’s piece inspired by internet addiction, dancers expertly spin on specially crafted “lazy susans”. Associate Director Jocelyn Smith explores the use of fabric to connect a network of dancers to each other. Company member Christi Harris uses nostalgia and humor within a striking contemporary framework. New company member Amy Symonds from Arizona explores the similarities between art making and tradition keeping, always striving towards innovation but often through comfortable processes we hold dear.
