FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Plan-B Theatre Company presents the world premiere of VIRTUE by Utah playwright Tim Slover The most compelling character in Western Europe’s revolutionary Twelfth Century was a woman: Hildegard. She was an abbess, a visionary, a composer who wrote the world’s first opera, and a friend of popes and kings. She defied authority and insisted on the validity of her revelations and agency, daring to ask: Is it possible to bridge the gap between spirituality and sexuality? A play with music, funded in part by The LGBT Community Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Utah, the Arch & Bruce Brown Foundation and the George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation.
