Heart and Hands Awards
During Utah Philanthropy Day we celebrate not only the major awardees but also the humble men and women who selflessly serve our nonprofit organizations -our volunteers. The Heart and Hands awardees are nominated by nonprofit organizations and the recognition expresses gratitude for the tireless hours volunteered. Hours spent doing "whatever it takes" to ensure that people receive the services they need; volunteers share the gift of art, they help us walk down difficult hallways in hospitals, and attend to the thousands of tasks necessary to fulfill the mission of the nonprofit where they volunteer.
Heart and Hands recipients don't volunteer for recognition; they volunteer because they understand the importance of their contribution. These awardees are deeply committed, genuinely caring and exemplify the role of our volunteers.
