Learn how to create lifelike paintings of animals and participate in one of humanity's  earliest art forms (dating back to prehistoric cave paintings!). Whether painting a portrait of a horse, a moose, birds or one's beloved pet(s), students will work on creating good composition, practice color mixing and brush handling techniques to depict the beauty of animals and their environments. This is a great opportunity for beginners or advanced oil painters to expand their subject matter. Photographic references will be used in this course. Start collecting your favorite wildlife images! The instructor will also bring a supply of good photos that students may use.
