WINTER ART WONDERS FOR TOTS

For tots ages 3-5

Winter is magical and it's fun to make art to celebrate the season. Tots will paint wondrous winter landscape paintings, cut and paste snowflake shapes, and built snowy sculptures out of clay. Each day will have a new wintry adventure in store!Tots learn valuable creative skills while having a blast.

For kids ages 6-10

Learn about winter animals and their habitats while being creative and making art. Kids will gain experience in clay, paint, paper, and glue to make awesome interactive sculptures to display.

ILLUSTRATING THE HUMAN SKELETON

Saturday, December 3

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

$100 + $20 materials fee.

For adults ages 17+.

This class focuses on the human skeleton, offering an anatomy based approach to capturing the human figure. Working from the skeleton helps anyone interested in drawing have a deeper understanding of form, learning to indicate form through minimal use of line and shading. Working from a human skeleton model, students will work with pencil and Micron pens in various sizes to achieve perfect balance in value and contrast while drawing the human skeleton. This is a valuable workshop that will strengthen anyone's skills in drawing. Teens 14+ are welcome to enroll.

COOKIE PLATES & COOKIE DECORATING

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

$30 per pair of students. ($15 for each extra student). Materials included.

For all ages; parental supervision required.

Come learn how to create a special clay cookie plate that is made for Santa. While plates dry, students will have the opportunity to decorate sugar cookies as a treat to be eaten after class. This is a great class for siblings, cousins and other family members to take together while parents are out running holiday errands. Students under 5 need to be accompanied by an adult. Please be aware the many food items are used in this class. We do our best to accommodate those students with allergies - make sure to notify us beforehand! Due to drying and firing times, pottery will be ready to pick up 7-10 days after the class session is finished.
