Kids learn the basics of how to play the ukulele! LEVEL 1: No experience necessary. Kids and youth learn the basics of the ukulele through fun, silly, and crazy camp songs from the included book, Two Chord Camp Songs for Kids written by the instructor. Youth will learn the four most common ukulele chords through songs that use chord pairs F & C7 as well as C & G7. In addition to a fun variety of strum patterns to accompany these songs, kids will learn to read music from the treble clef, play a C-scale, and tune their ukulele. You must bring your own ukulele. Parents of younger children are welcome to attend free. Instructor: M. Ryan Taylor. Instructor M. Ryan Taylor: Composer/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist has written dozens of songs in popular, folk, broadway, choral, operatic and classical styles.
