The Utah Division of Arts & Museums and Utah Humanities would like to invite you to participate in a virtual information session about the upcoming Utah Community Preservation Program. The program will be led by Marie Desrochers, our new Preservation Outreach Coordinator. Marie is a conservator with a specialization in preventive conservation.

Please join us to come learn more about:

1. Community Preservation Team (CPT)

The team will be limited to seven members from around the state who will be selected by application. Team members will complete training in collections preservation and learn to conduct preservation site assessments. Included are online sessions, in-person workshops (with travel stipends), and the completion of a mentored preservation project specific to your institution’s needs.

2. Webinars, Workshops, and Preservation Assessments

For the next two years, monthly webinars and quarterly in-person workshops will be held in Southeastern Utah and the Wasatch Back/Uintah Basin along with on-site preservation assessments by request.

Join us to find out how you can participate in these opportunities!
