Urban Arts Gallery
Salt Lake City -- Friday, December 8: The Gala will feature artworks from artists selected over the past year at monthly Connect events. Each artist has been “up voted” by their peers throughout the 2017 year. You will vote on which artists will be awarded $4,000 and other prizes including booth space at the Urban Arts Festival!
The Connect Gala is a fundraiser to support Utah Arts Alliance’s premier emerging arts program, Connect. Show your support for Utah Artists! 100% of proceeds go directly to Utah Arts Alliance programs that benefit local artists.
Friday, December 1: For our final show of the year, the Urban Arts Gallery will display a diverse collection of our favorite works from throughout the year. This exhibit will offer the community a great chance to see a wide range of local artists' work all under one roof. Come out and enjoy!
This show will hang December 5th through December 31st. Our exhibits are always free to the public.

Join us at this years SLC White Party as we transport you to another world of art, performance, music and dance. Now in its eighteenth year, the SLC White Party is one of the most exciting and unique events in Utah. This year we are taking it to a even higher level of excellence and fun!
Dress code: White with flair. With the theme of “Garden of Earthly Delights” this year think all things whimsical, fantasy, and from a place of imagination. Break out those white tuxedos and white ball gowns because you can’t get too fancy for the SLC White Party. Costumes that are creative and fun are always welcome at this event! What can you do with white?

At the Arts Hub 663 west 100 south, Salt Lake City
Utah Arts Alliance, Bilingue Radio Utah, and University Neighborhood Partners has teamed up to bring a new community supported radio station to Salt Lake City! This is Utah's first Art Centric Radio that also provides Bilingual programing. In an effort to strengthen the voice of the Salt Lake City People, the common thread is culture and expression.
Capoeira is a unique and vibrant Afro-Brazilian martial art which cultivates movement, culture, music, and philosophy. Volta Miúda's Mestrando Jamaika teaches in Salt Lake City.
Capoeira is an Afro-brazilian martial art which includes elements of physical and mental strength, beauty, and power. Mestre Jamaika often refers to capoeira as a “complete martial art” in that it encompasses a vast spectrum of movement and culture; it incorporates kicks, ground movements, self-defense, acrobatics, music, and tradition.

The newest addition to UAA programs, The Art Factory is a Creative Industries Incubator. It is located at 193 W. 2100 S. SSLC UT 84115, conveniently next to the Trax Central Pointe Station Stop.
The Factory has affordable studio, office, rehearsal & event space between 250-5,500 sq., ft. Rents start at $400/month, utilities included. Contact [email protected] for more info or to arrange a tour.
