Formed in 2013, the band is headed by front man Chris Crabb and supported by Yusuke Sato-guitar, Frank Ojeda-bass, Myles Lawrence-Sax, and Jay Tibbitts-drums. The Strike is known for their captivating live performances. In an age of musical minimalism, The Strike is reminiscent of rock bands from the 70’s and 80’s. They feature true showmanship in an age where the art of performance has been forgotten. Chris Crabb’s vocal style is akin to rock vocalists such as Lou Gramm, or Steve Perry. The band members are all students at their craft. Those attend Strike shows become instant fans. Dad Bod is comprised of 4 members, 3 of whom are brothers; with Michael Marinos on vocals and guitar, Matthew Marinos on bass guitar, Marcus Marinos on the drums, and Ben Ostler on lead guitar. The band released one EP early this year and is currently working on a full-length album to be released this summer of 2019. Their sounds are an array of indie overtones with jazz, pop and rock influences.
