"The Sound of Music" is a heartwarming story based on the real-life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world's best-known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II. It tells the story of Maria, a young postulant who is unable to keep the rules of the Nonneburg Abby and is sent by the Mother Abbess to be a governess to Captain Von Trapp's seven children. Free-spirited Maria brings music and love to the Von Trapp family. PERFORMANCES: July 1, 2, 6 through 16 at 8:15 p.m. No performances on Sundays.
