The Flutopia Initiative, flutists inspiring musicians to change the world, one concert at a time, is coming to Salt Lake City!! This one-time, one of a kind benefit concert will be held Wednesday, July 31, at 7 P.M. at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art 20 S. West Temple in Salt Lake City. Experience the joy and heavenly sounds of the flute, provided by professional flutists flocking to Salt Lake City for the National Flute Association convention. Headliners for this concert include: The Los Angeles Flute Orchestra (showcasing every size of flute imaginable), the Coro de Flautas de Panamá,  soloist Timothy Hagen, and a duo featuring Jerrold Pritchard and Cathy Herrera. The concert is offered in support of Fourth Street Clinic! Donate at door or at fourthstreetclinic.org In conjunction with the concert, there will be a Visual Arts Competition sponsored by The Flutopia Initiative. Winning flute-themed artworks will be on display during the performance. Competition proceeds go to offset benefit concert venue expenses. Visit flutegarden1.wixsite.com/flutopiainitiative. For many homeless Utahns, Fourth Street Clinic is their first and only chance at a diagnosis and on-going treatment. By increasing access to primary care, the clinic is a major partner in ending homelessness, promoting community health, and achieving across-the-board health care savings.
