Earlier today, Utah Governor Cox announced that his administration and the Utah Department of Health will begin winding down, effective immediately, COVID-19 Emergency Protocols to work toward a "Steady State." The Utah Department of Health is targeting a full wind-down date by March 31. This transition includes:

  • The Utah Department of Health will be closing down various mobile testing sites starting February 18
  • The Utah Department of Health will stop presenting daily COVID-19 data such as case counts, hospitalizations, etc.
  • The Utah Department of Health will continue to work over the next six weeks to clarify and communicate further plans to achieve this goal.
