QUARANTINE ART CLUB: Casual and fun art activities recommended for ages 15+ ($5 per person) There’s never been a better time to join our Quarantine Art Club and create art in solidarity with each other! Each 1-hour session will walk you through a specific art prompt using household materials. A secure link to our Zoom livestream will be sent to your provided email to join us on the day of the event. Kids under 15 may participate with parental approval. PLEASE SIGN UP AT LEAST FIVE HOURS BEFORE EACH EVENT! NOTE: If you are unable to attend the time slot for the session you sign up for, a link with the recorded prompt will be sent to you so you can create on your own time. Thursday, April 16 | 6-7PM Drawing: Contour & Blind Contour Plants | Materials needed: Pen or pencil & Paper (printer paper good) Friday, April 17 | 7-8PM Drawing: Quick Contour Portraits | Materials needed: Pen or pencil & Paper (printer paper good) Monday, April 20 | 6-7PM Drawing: Gratitude | A great reflective drawing activity during this time, and in spirit of the Easter season. We will make small zines (booklets) using printer paper and fill them up of all we are grateful for. | Materials needed: Paper (3 sheets of paper), pen, pencil Wednesday, April 22 | 4-5PM Drawing: Happy Earth Day! | Happy Earth Day! We will draw a beautiful landscape in celebration of Earth Day. | Materials: paper, pen, pencil Thursday, April 23 | 6-7PM Watercolor: Tape Resist Pattern Painting | Tape Resist Watercolor Painting | Materials needed: basic watercolors, brush, paper, masking tape, pencil, water cup Friday, April 24 | 7-8PM Drawing: Spring Blossoms | Materials: pen, colored pencil & paper | We will draw beautiful magnolia blossoms Monday, April 27 | 6-7PM Watercolor: Painting Patterns | Materials needed: basic watercolors, brush, paper, water cup | We will work on painting washes and play with pattern. Wednesday, April 29 | 6-7PM Drawing Still Life: What’s in Your Fridge? | Materials needed: Pen or pencil, or colored pencil & Paper (printer paper good) | Pick 3 items from your fridge or pantry ready to use for this drawing exercise Friday, May 1st | 1-2PM Painting: Spring Blossoms | Materials: paper, pencil, basic watercolors, brush, water
