The Salt Lake Symphonic Winds is excited to return to the stage at the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center with a performance on October 18. The address is 2525 Taylorsville Boulevard, Taylorsville, Utah. The Salt Lake Symphonic Winds will perform a wide range of selections under the direction of Thomas P. Rohrer. The repertoire will include a performance of "Blessed Are They" from German Requiem, composed by Johannes Brahms and the composition of Alfred Reed's The Music Makers, which is a joyous affirmation of the power of music to move the spirit of man to both dream and achieve the highest that life has to offer. The audience will also be treated to other various selections that will have folks tapping their toes. Come join us for a performance that is sure to please.
