The 2022 Salt Lake Children's Choir Christmas concert will be at the Cathedral of the Madeleine December 2 & 4 at 8 pm.

This year's edition (of a concert tradition begun in 1984) will feature works by J. S. Bach and other early masters as well as familiar and lesser-known carols from many lands--including, "The Wexford Carol," "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming," "O Leave Your Sheep," "Still, Still, Still," "Il est né le divine Enfant,"  and the rarely heard Finnish carol, "Arkiluosi kaikka heita." Also heard will be "Panis Angelicus" by French master, Cesar Franck, the title Theme from the motion picture, "King of Kings" by Miklós Rózca, "Wondrous Birth" by the director, and the sublime "Sleep of the Child Jesus" by Henri Büsser.  The audience will be invited to join the combined choirs in several carol favorites to conclude the evening.  Harpist Lysa Rytting and organist Ken Udy will provide accompaniment.
