Resource Lab | Essentials for Grantwriting Success

Program goals, financials, board lists, logic models, and more are commonly required documents for grant applications. Set your organization up for success by ensuring you have both a plan and the essentials in place prior to starting any grant applications. Certified Grant Professional Katy Shoemaker, GPC will share resources to help you create the necessary documentation, keep your team on track to meet deadlines, and find new funding opportunities.

Katy’s inherent drive for community change led her to her career in grant writing and management in 2014. With professional experiences managing grants with a variety of nonprofits in different sectors, Katy has successfully raised more than $35mm in her career. She is the current President of the Utah Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association, is a certified Change Leader through Utah Division of Arts & Museums, and travels throughout the state of Utah, presenting on grant writing and management topics to fellow nonprofit professionals.
