A Local Craft Beer Festival

SALT LAKE CITY, UT—

SLUG Mag On Tap will take place this Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m.at The Gateway. The day will feature a full entertainment lineup packed with local DJs, local food and of course tons of local craft beer. Tickets to SLUG Mag On Tap are available for purchase at the advanced sale price of $20 and for $25 on the day of. As a part of their commitment to Utah’s Zero Fatalities goal, SLUG Mag On Tap will also be offering Designated Driver tickets for just $5! 

Every brew available at SLUG Mag On Tap was brewed in the state of Utah. From 2 Row Brewing to Zion Brewery, SLUG Mag On Tap has your local craft beer cravings covered. The following breweries will be in attendance: 2 Row Brewing, Bohemian Brewery & Grill, Bonneville Brewery, Branagan's Brewery, Desert Edge Pub and Brewery, Epic Brewing Company, Fisher Brewing Company, Hoppers Grill & Brewing Co., Kiitos Brewing, Moab Brewery, Mountain West Hard Cider, Park City Brewery, Proper Brewing Co, Red Rock Brewing, RoHa Brewing Project, Roosters Brewing Co., RPM Brewing, Saltfire Brewing, Squatters Craft Beer, Talisman Brewing Company, Toasted Barrel Brewing, Uinta Brewing, Vernal Brewing Company, Wasatch Brewery and Zion Brewery. 

 

This Saturday will empower attendees to taste over 75 different brews from the breweries listed above, including but not limited to the following award winners: 

Viva La Hatu - Red Rock Brewing Company 

Thursday IPA - RoHa Brewing Project 

Kensington Grand Saison - RoHa Brewing Project 

Squasatch - Squatters 

Honey Wheat - Roosters Brewing Co. 

SLUG Mag On Tap is not just a beer festival, it’s also a benefit for the Utah Brewers' Guild (UBG). The UBG is a 501(c)-6 nonprofit that was founded to provide a united voice for craft breweries in the state of Utah. Currently 18 breweries strong and growing, the UBG is dedicated to encouraging local purchasing, defending the industry and educating the public about all things brew-related. The Guild is also focused on promoting collaboration and unity amongst brewers instead of the traditional competitive relationship that one may expect.
