Prepare for SVOG Today

As we approach the month of April, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is preparing to open the Shuttered Venue Operator Grant (SVOG) program on April 8. On Tuesday, March 31, the SBA held a webinar detailing information on application instructions for SVOG. You may view the recording of this webinar on the SBA's Youtube page.

In addition, as you prepare for the application, one of the most important things to do right now is make sure you are registered through the System for Award Management (SAM) so that you are able to apply when the SVOG program opens on April 8. You can find a video tutorial detailing how to do so on the SBA's SVOG webpage and heading down to the header entitled "Video Tutorials" at the bottom of the page.

Also, we have prepared some both new and revised materials for our members to get ready to apply for SVOG. You may use our new snapshot checklist to determine if you are prepared to apply for SVOG. You may view our revised SBA Relief page as well since we have removed a lot of the text and condensed it into a simpler table for you to read from. 

Lastly, if you are planning on now applying for both the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and SVOG, please apply for the PPP now as it has been clarified that you may no longer apply for or be eligible for PPP after you have applied for SVOG. You can find a summary of these details here.
