Artists are taking to the streets at BDAC this September. BDAC is hosting its 3rd Plein Air Competition on September 9th! Invite everyone down to Main Street Bountiful to see these brilliant painters at work. 
Artists from around the State come to Bountiful every year to show off their mad-painting skills. Competing for cash prizes, artists will paint local buildings and landscapes in hopes of impressing the judges!
In conjunction with the Main Street Music and Arts Festival, visitors can experience everything that Main Street has to offer at this FREE family-friendly event.

Be part of the 3rd Annual BDAC Plein Air Competition in conjunction with Bountiful Main Street Music and Arts Festival. Sign up to be a participating artist or come watch artists paint live on Main Street. Finished paintings will be on display at Bountiful Davis Art Center Oct 6-Nov 17.  Reception and awards ceremony is Oct 20 6-8 PM.

FREE entry for participants of Michael Calles' August 28th landscape painting workshop (sign up HERE)!  $10 earlybird entry fee for each canvas/board - Please RSVP by September 1 for this rate - payments will be accepted online HERE or by calling BDAC at 801 295-3618. Entry fee on September 9 will be $15. Artists may enter up to 5 pieces.

Sept 9 8 AM -10 AM: Registration and stamping of canvas/boards at Bountiful Davis Art Center 90 N Main St. Bountiful, UT.

Sept 9 10 AM - 4 PM: Participating artists must paint on Main Street in Bountiful for some time during this window.

Sept 10 - Sept 23: Artists may paint at any time in other areas in Davis County including Antelope Island.

Sept 23 10 AM - 5 PM: Completed paintings must be turned in to BDAC.
 
October 20 6 - 8 PM:  Reception and awards ceremony for exhibition of all the finished pieces at BDAC. Exhibit will be on view October 6 through November 17. Awards ceremony begins at 7 pm. Winners will be be announced and receive cash prizes.

October 6 - November 17:  Exhibit on display at BDAC. Silent auction of paintings.
