Dear ZAP Partner,

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey by Friday, December 9, 2016.

Celebrating the arts and cultural diversity of Salt Lake County is a high priority for the Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP) office. The ZAP program wants to ensure that the entire population of Salt Lake County benefits from the use of ZAP funding. Thus we are in the process of looking at our internal practices to ensure that ZAP funding is reaching as many organizations and people as possible. Salt Lake County's population is growing and diversifying rapidly; we expect Salt Lake County's ‘minority’ population to reach 55% by 2040. We are also looking at what diversity means to our community. Definitions of diversity might include ethnicity, race, age, disability, gender, gender identity, socio-economics, demography, and sexual orientation. This survey focuses on three areas of diversity: geography, socio-economics, and race and/or ethnicity.

The ZAP program relies on you, our partners, to create a vibrant arts and cultural community. We need your support as we begin this discussion to ensure equity. This short survey will start a process that enables ZAP resources to reach all residents of Salt Lake County.
