Funding to Attend Regional Performing Arts Booking Conferences
Performing Artists and Presenters
 
The Performing Arts Program provides funding support for professional performing artists or presenters to attend annual booking conferences. Booking conferences are gathering places for performing arts professionals.  These conferences provide opportunities for performing artists to market their art to presenters who are looking to bring performance to their communities.

Funding covers registration costs up to $1000.

 

2016 National Humanities Conference - Salt Lake City
Thursday November 10th - 13th

The 2016 National Humanities Conference is coming to Salt Lake City!

This conference will be the first in a series of joint Federation and National Humanities Alliance national meetings that will bring the humanities community together as a whole to consider how, by leveraging strengths, they can achieve broader public impact and showcase the fundamental role the humanities play in addressing both local and global challenges.

 
Presenter Funding Available - Southern Exposure: Help Select Roster Artists
Presenter Survey closes November 2nd

Southern Exposure: Performing Arts of Latin America brings exemplary contemporary and traditional performing artists from Latin America to audiences across the United States. Fee support grants are available to nonprofit presenters based anywhere in the United States.

Help Select the 2017-2018 Artist Roster

You must be a nonprofit presenter or unit of state or local government based in the United States to complete the online survey. The artist roster will be announced in late November. Funding will be available for roster engagements taking place between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018.

 

National Endowment for the Arts Presents the United States of Arts: Utah
 
In collaboration with the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, the National Endowment for the Arts looks at the arts and culture of Utah. Developed as part of the National Endowment for the Arts 50th Anniversary United States of Arts: Tell Us Your Art Story series.

Funding Opportunity: Presenter Consortium for Jazz

Chamber Music America, the national network of ensemble music professionals, offers support to consortiums of U.S.-based presenters and festivals for concerts by jazz ensembles. 
 
Presenter Consortium for Jazz grants are made for ensemble(s)’ concert fees, travel, housing, per diem, cartage, and the presenters’ marketing and production costs for the proposed concerts.  Applicants must be Chamber Music America members at the Organization level at time of submission.


 
The Creative Age Conference at Dixie State University in St. George - November 4th - 5th 

The Arts Council of Washington County invites you to an incredible multidisciplinary conference to foster understanding of the value of creative expression and healthy aging, and to explore ways to build upon this vital relationship. 25+ breakout sessions will  cover a diversity of subjects offered by some of the best thought leaders in their particular fields, you will be enlightened, empowered and energized. 
 
The Independent Music on Tour (IMTour) program  

This new program comes from the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) and is designed to help facilitate the booking of contemporary independent musicians by nonprofit presenters.

The Independent Music on Tour (IMTour) program was created by musicians for musicians and offers underappreciated artists support in the areas of professional development, exposure to new audiences, opportunities to play shows at new venues, and, most importantly, money!

With the ability to cycle grant money and artists application fees through the web application, IMTour offers a multitude of financial incentives for both musicians and presenters that have not previously been available.
