Utah Film Center Education

If you have had the privilege of seeing Storyboard Artist McLean Paul do his heart-tugging impersonation of a sad dog or Character Modeler Stephen Anderson explain transitioning his animated characters from 2D to 3D, then you have seen what Utah Film Center Education's Behind the Animation program can do for your classroom.

This past week Stephen took it to another level and delivered Behind the Animation to Olympus, Taylorsville, and Layton high schools in Spanish! When asked how it went Stephen wrote, "I love being able to visit with students in the classroom to educate them on the filmmaking process and be able to enjoy some animation together. It's fun to watch how the students light up when they see something they recognize or get insight to how something was made – there's a lot of joy that washes over them as they realize the magic behind the movie."
