Open Mic concert featuring a dozen short performances of music, spoken word, and maybe more.

Free to attend.  These shows include a different mix of performers each session, but there is always a variety of musical styles with a new performer every 10 or 15 minutes. Open to new and established performers, whether or not you are from Magna. Simply show up and sign up.  Performers usually start with a 10-minute turn on stage, but the organizers might adjust the schedule depending on the night.  Due to the venue and the all-ages audience please keep material consistent with "family friendly" content.  Sound system is provided. Organizers also try to have a few guitars and a piano keyboard available. Organized by the Magna Arts Council and the Magna Library, which is part of the Salt Lake County Library System. Thanks are owed to the SL County ZAP Tax program and other sponsoring organizations, and the all-volunteer staff of this series which keeps the arts alive in Magna.
