Once again, the Ogden Music Festival will be kicking off the summer festival season with an impressive line-up of premier artists from bluegrass, folk, and Americana genres. Parker Millsap, Sarah Jarosz, Tim O’Brien and Hot Rize, Amy LaVere, Joshua James and local favorite, rising star Sammy Brue, are just some of the artists who will be taking the stage June 2-4 at Weber County's beautiful Fort Buenaventura. The 3 day festival, presented by OFOAM, Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music is now in its 10th year, and has developed into a premier destination for traditional bluegrass and Americana music lovers.
In addition to amazing performances by award-winning artists, the festival features artist workshops, and the IAMA Utah State Instrument Championships in fingerstyle and flatpick guitar, mandolin, banjo, and bluegrass fiddle. As always, the festival is family friendly, with on-site camping, children’s activities, and an instrument “petting zoo” sponsored by Imagine Music. In keeping with OFOAM’s mission to bring world class music experiences to Ogden’s youth, kids 16 and under are free.
We are excited to extend an invite to all media, including radio to come and check out all the festival has to offer! A live remote broadcast from the festival is sure to delight listeners!
