Nicholas Don Smith started performing and writing stand-up at Wiseguys Trolley Square in 2012 and has been spinning yarns of carnage and hilarity ever since. Nick's jokes are a literary and wonderful blend of the brutality of existence, being fat, and trying to make the best of the worst. He is a sweet soul that will enrapture you with finding the small, and a hilarious silver lining in such topics as sex, mental illness and, being the caretaker of his family. He has been running a Dungeons and Dragons themed stand-up show titled "Dungeons & Comedy"(D&C) since May of 2014, with his co-host Aaron Orlovitz, which was featured at the Salt Lake Comic Con in 2016, Golden Spike Comedy Festival in 2017, and Salt Lake Gaming Con in 2018. He has been a part of such festivals and events as The SLC Comedy Carnival in 2014, Idaho Laughs Festival 2016, Golden Spike Comedy and Podcast Festival 2017. He has performed alongside the titanic talents of Matt Knudsen, Mateen Stewart, Amerah Ames, Sean Rouse, Brandie Posey, Brian Posehn, Derek Sheen, Emmet Montgomery, and Aaron Woodall. Nick plans on recording his debut album "We Fought The Long Defeat" in the summer of 2020.
