Funding to Attend Regional Performing Arts Booking Conferences
Performing Artists and Presenters

The Utah Division of Arts & Museum provides funding support for professional presenters or performing artists to attend annual booking conferences. Booking conferences are gathering places for performing arts professionals.  These conferences provide opportunities for performing artists to market their art to presenters who are looking to bring performance to their communities. Booking conferences are also exceptional opportunities for artists to obtain professional development and network with other professionals in the field.
Funding covers registration costs up to $1000.

Upcoming Conferences:

Levitt AMP (Your City) Music Series
2017 Applications Open July 15

Do you believe in the power of free, live music to bring people together and invigorate community life? Does your town or city have an underused public space that would be ideal for outdoor concerts?

The Levitt AMP Music Series was created in 2014 by the Levitt Foundation, a pioneer in the creative placemaking movement and the national nonprofit behind the largest free outdoor concert series in America. Levitt AMP brings the joy of free, live music to people of all ages and backgrounds living in small to mid-sized towns and cities, transforming neglected public spaces into thriving community destinations.

#ifindart

The Division of Arts & Museums recently launched a new campaign to encourage everyone to look for art in every day encounters and experiences. Tell us what you find and use #ifindart.

We're gathering photos and experiences to share with all of our arts and museums audiences. Our hope is to encourage everyone to recognize how art plays a vital role in their everyday life.

If you ride UTA Frontrunner, look for our new ads featuring visual arts fellowship recipients Pam Bowman and David Brothers.
