Alpine Community Theater (ACT) presents its exciting summer musical, Disney’s Newsies!  This very popular Disney film turned Tony-winning Broadway hit, set in turn- of-the century New York City, is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience.   To kick off ticket sales ACT will hold its annual Ice Cream Social on Friday, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Legacy Park (corner of Center and Main) in Alpine. Enjoy ice cream with toppings for a dollar and start tapping your toes during a brief performance by the cast. This is the only event where tickets may be purchased at a discount.
