SHAKESPEARE E-GLOBE
FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY: IT'S BARDWAY, BABY!
Join the Festival actors and artists as they present the eighth annual Bardway, Baby! The annual late-night concert will feature songs from current company members' dream roles. The fundraising evening supports the artistic initiative fund which was created to promote the Festival's growth in artistic excellence.
DISCOVER A NEW PLAY AT WORDS CUBED
Expand your theatre experience with Words Cubed, the Festival's new plays program, on selected dates in August and September. Playwrights spend a week at the Festival, and Festival actors and artists present their plays as staged readings, followed by a lively discussion between the playwright, actors, and audiences.
WOODEN O SYMPOSIUM
Besides being a fascinating conference, this year's Wooden O Symposium will feature two very different speakers. Mya Gosling, the author/artist of Good Tickle Brain, the world's foremost and possibly only stick-figure Shakespeare web-comic, and someone who thinks Shakespeare is "super fun," will present the opening address. Heather Wolfe will present the keynote address. She is the curator of manuscripts at the Folger Shakespeare Library and has created an online database of all known references and allusions to Shakespeare and his works during his lifetime and shortly thereafter.
YOU HAVE TOLD US WHAT YOU THINK!
You, our guests, are not shy about telling us what you think about the Festival and this year's plays. We love receiving all your comments. The praise makes us proud, and the "constructive criticism" keeps us on our toes and striving to be better. Thanks, and keep those cards and letters (and emails and social media posts) coming.
