Create a safe space where students can find their voice, express themselves, and engage with their communities. Since its inception in 1999, Spy Hop has mentored nearly 30,000 young people in the digital media arts as a vehicle for artistic expression, self-discovery, critical thinking, and skilled participation.
Help students connect and collaborate with a diverse group of peers.Each year, we serve nearly 2,000 young people, ages 7-20, speaking 28 languages and representing over 100 schools across the Wasatch Front and state of Utah. This diverse and inclusive environment creates a space where students can build relationships and gain understanding and appreciation of each other’s worlds.
Teach students technical skills they need to succeed in Utah’s growing creative and digital economy. Spy Hop is an award-winning arts education organization that offers 20 different programs in film, audio, music, and design through introductory, intermediate, and advanced classes taught by full time professional teaching artists. |
