ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

The Utah Cultural Alliance (UCA) and Utah Cultural Alliance Foundation (UCAF) are approaching a pivotal moment. Over the next three years, we will shape the next era as we look forward to providing Utah’s arts and culture sector with communications, stewardship and advocacy support while moving this organization towards stabilized operations. This will be accomplished under the stewardship of the working Board of Trustees, UCA(F) Staff, and strategic partnerships.

 

OUR MISSION: Utah Cultural Alliance (UCA) provides Utah arts and cultural organizations with communications, stewardship, and advocacy support to secure their future, sustain their communities, and inspire Utahns and visitors of every age.

Supporting this new mission, there are four core focus areas guiding the company’s efforts and investments:

  • FINANCIAL HEALTH and SUSTAINABILITY: Reinvigorating our Membership model, pursuing new and untapped earned revenue sources, and putting systems in place for a healthy contributed income calendar year as it pertains to grants and program sponsorships 
  • BRAND ELEVATION – Increased awareness and understanding of who we are, what we do, and what we stand for to reach and expand support
  • ADVOCACY – Model Servant Leadership in which legislative priorities are in alignment with our constituents and support their fiscal future
  • BOARD AND GOVERNANCE– Methodical board member recruitment to include friend and fundraisers who are experts and/or passionate in at least one of our three pillars
