How have the arts, culture, and/or humanities impacted your life?
Answer: Imagination and creativity create experiences worth engaging. Exposure creates an openness and understanding of different perspectives. Experiences are at the core of who we are. I've been fortunate to be raised by creative parents that encouraged imagination, surrounded me with opportunities, and taught me to pursue dreams, all balanced with education. My adult life has been enhanced with opportunities to visit and learn from different cultures, to embrace others and create lasting friendships. All of which continue to expand my problem solving and assessment skills. All which continue to influence my own creativity and innovative thinking. Without arts and humanities, I would not be who I am. A life absent the arts and humanities would not be a life worth living.

Answer: I support the RAP tax as long as it is balanced with other tax structures. Ensuring the funds are used appropraitely for the immediate need may sometimes exceed 1/3 and others not meet 1/3. The highest priority issues should received funding with a balance for all arts, humanities, recreation and parks.
