MUNDI PROJECT WELCOMES RENOWNED PIANIST TIEN HSIEH TO PERFORM AT 7:30 PM MARCH 24 AT ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (January 26, 2017) – Mundi Project is proud to welcome pianist, Tien Hsieh to Salt Lake City for an artist residency and solo performance at 7:30 pm, March 24 at All Saints Episcopal Church.

"Serious, composed, tiny and full of music, Tien Hsieh lets her artistry on the piano express a warmth and freshness of ideas that surely none but a poet could explain." - Pacifica Tribune

Praised for exceptional temperament, personal expressivity and insight, Tien Hsieh has enjoyed a far-ranging career as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician.  Prizewinner of the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition, Tien played an all-Liszt program at the Liszt Museum in Budapest, Hungary. She has also performed solo recitals and chamber music in China, Germany, Italy, Canada, and throughout the United States.  Her performance in Salt Lake City will include a variety of repertoire from Liszt to Scriabin.

As a dedicated proponent of music education, Tien will also conduct masterclasses for students at the Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts and Utah Valley University, and perform an outreach concert at Meadowlark Elementary.
